Caleb has discovered the bath tub faucet

So we're giving Caleb a bath tonight and Amy turns him around so he's facing the faucet and turns the water on. He just loved it. He reaches up and tries to grab water and sometimes we think he's going for the actual metal faucet.

The other day, Amy heard Caleb gigling and just talking on the baby monitor, then he just screams - then goes back to giggling again. Well, she goes upstairs to check on him and finds that he's kneeling with one hand holding himself up and the other one stretched as high as he can go reaching for his mobile. When he couldn't quite get it he'd just scream. I think we've got a determined little boy on our hands.

My 1st toothbrush

Caleb is getting so health concisous now, he asked his mom to pick up a toothbrush for him. He's just having trouble figuring out which end is suppose to go "into" his mouth. Posted by Picasa

Climbing over and under... everything!

Caleb has now learned how to commando crawl. He will now clap his hands together infont of his face, then pull himself forward. After a few times of this he learned to pull himself up onto things. His favorite is going after the little white buckles on his bouncer. He'll pull his torso up onto the bouncer, point his toes, and raise his bumb up in the air. It's pretty funny to watch. Goatee

Caleb sure can't wait until he's old enough to be able to grow a big red goatee like his uncle Dave who came to visit last week. Caleb doesn't know for sure if he wants to shave his yet, since his hair just started growing. Posted by Picasa

Caleb's BYU hat

This is Caleb's new BYU hat. After a rough season last year, and the fact that his Dad bought it for him when he was 2 months old and he was drowing in it, he's ready to go this year.I took this picture just after I told him that BYU is a 3 seed in the Mountain West Conference basketball tournament on Thursday... he felt they should have been a #1 seed!
