NuSkin Lagoon Party

Last night we went to Lagoon, for the annual NuSki

ATV Day up American Fork Canyon

Today Amy and I took Caleb up American Fork Canyon with Ben's ATVs. It was so much fun. At first Caleb did NOT want his helmet on, but he got over it in a little while.

Caleb's BIG Boy Bed

So we're planning on getting Caleb use to a BIG boy bed. We haven't done it so far because people always say "Just leave them in the crib until hey try to climb out" - well, Caleb will usually just sit in his crib and talk and laugh and have a really good time each morning when he wakes up. He doesn't even try to get out. Last night I moved a twin bed into his room and today Amy took him to buy a Lightning McQueen and Mater pillow. As he finished up his bed-time routine (crowning event is watching a Handy Many episode on the DVR, Caleb fell asleep on Mama.

Here's what he looked like when we left him.

What a cute little bugger!!!

Armstrong Family Reunion (for Grandpa Gilbert)

Two weeks ago we decided to go to Granbury Texas to Tom's Aunt Myrna and Uncle Pal's place for a family reunion. Most of the time I was trying to fight Caleb who only wanted to take the pool table balls and use them on the ping pong table or the foos ball table. Here are some pictures of him on the flight.

He enjoyed it because he was able to plug in my iPod, which has about 15 kids movies loaded, and watch while he kicked the poor guy seated in front of us.

I'm not entirely convinced I ever want to fly with a 2 year old again... even if they do get their own seat.

The trip back wasn't so easy, however. Our flight from Dallas to SLC (a direct flight) was cancelled because the American wouldn't let the plane from Charlotte land in Denver due to the rain. Every other airline was landing, however.

We ended up taking a later flight to Denver, staying in the Denver airport for 4 hours before we could check in for a 6:20am flight to SLC. The worst part was that airport has this dumb PA system that repeats the same message every 10 minutes the whole night...

I don't know how Amy and Caleb were able to sleep but they did.

Grandma played Sudoku.

Grandpa guarded the bags.
