... and he's had some good ones. We Caleb is really paying attention in Sunbeams. Today we were driving into Seattle in rush hour and Caleb unbuckled his seat belt to get down and find some toys that had fallen... Amy was trying to get him back in his seat, but she gets way too carsick when she looks back. So here we are driving down a super busy freeway with our son trying to get out of his car seat. All I can think of is yelling "Caleb, get back in your seat RIGHT NOW!!" Poor little guy starts bawling and sobbing as he gets in his seat and Amy buckles him in. When he gets control of himself he says (through the tears), "Daddy, you need to say sorry to Jesus... he's very sad right now because you yelled at me... he's up there crying right now... he's very sad." It was so hard for both of us not to laugh, then through more tears he says, "My heart is breaking right now!"
Poor little guy! As soon as we stopped I gathered him up and gave him a big hug and let him know how much I loved him when I was reminded that I was still "in big trouble with Jeus, got it!!!"
Seriously, where do the pick it up!!!
